After announcing it to be released on November 10th, Wordpress guys delayed the release to a bit later date not mentioning the exact date of its release. On 4th December 2008 Wordpress 2.7 was available for Free Wordpress.com blogs.
It’s kind of official now that Wordpress 2.7 for self hosted blogs will be out on December 10th, 2008. Lorelle has already started countdown to the release.
