Google has released a Gmail gadget by which you can view all your mails without leaving your personalized igoogle page.
Not only just seeing but with this web 2.0 gadget interface you can also send and reply your mails too. Will be extremely useful for those who want to check weather or finance and side by side get notifications of new mail too without opening new browser tab or a window.
To put the gadget on your igoogle page make sure that you are signed in with your google account and then go here and add the gadget.

I read about a site on John Chow today called http://www.43marks.com - its like iGoogle but better cuz you can add you own bookmarks and the bookmarks can be websites not just gadgets and RSS feeds although you can upload your favorite RSS feeds too. Its free and totally customizable. Plus you don’t have to login to see your bookmars and RSS feeds
Bobby, I didn’t get you when you say that you don’t have to login to see Bookmarks ? How is this possible keeping in mind that I’ve deleted all my browser cache and cookies ?
Himanshu Just go to 43marks and start an account (it’s free) and you are given a unique URL (43Marks.com/username)and that URL can be to public (no need to log in to see bookmarks) or private (you will need to login to view bookmarks). not sure how they do it but it works
Bobby, your concept seems to be interesting but still it needs to have its USP to make people use it more frequently. Just my 2 cents!
I agree with Himanshu regarding this. There are several websites like this. To make a good user base is the real challenge on the internet.
The Gmail gadget worked beautifully on the old iGoogle home page. Now with this “canvas view” it no longer functions properly–does not go to the inbox when directed there, does not archive conversations from the gadget window, etc. I was perfectly happy with the way I had my iGoogle home page laid out before–to my preferences, not someone else’s. At least offer a choice!
