If you follow Techradar, a popular technology website then you must be knowing that they are conducting a poll on Tech company of the year 2008. Around 10,000 voters participated and the results seems to be very interesting.
As you can see, 80% of the votes are for Microsoft and after that Apple which bags 7% votes.
Google’s Do No Evil policy doesn’t seems to be working as they have only 4% of votes in favor of them.
Rest, few votes are mostly for hardware and gadgets company like Sony, Nintendo, Samsung, Nokia,Philips, RIM (Blackberry) and Intel.
No matter Microsoft’s Windows Vista is not liked by industry but it is still the favorite brand for most of the tech savvy audience on the internet. Apple on the other hand, with its iPhone 3G success in 2008 continues to gain good reputation.
It’ll be very tough to say anything about next years’ statistics as with recession and increasing job cuts, it is the consumer who’ll decide everything.
