Now since you might have discovered the popularity level of your blog, it is worthy to note the qualities of writing a Good Blog which reader would love to read too.
1.Writing a nice catchy Title
First things first! A title is the first thing that will grab attention of your readers. They will certainly be anticipating something good if they found your Title of some value to them. Now just ask one question to yourself - ‘Our expedition to the forests of Amazon’ OR ‘Not to yawn when in Amazon’. What will you choose to read ?
2. Using Lists wherever possible
I am sure you must have been making those memory maps in your high school writing the important points as a list and then revising your notes. Same thing applies for Blog too. As I have said earlier too, your readers’ time is precious. Don’t make things cluttered, use lists to make it clear what you want to say.
Just imagine the title of the same post as ‘How to write a blog’ where you have no idea what you’ll learn after you end up reading the whole article. Here you at least know there are 7 things you’ll surely get to know.
3. Write to the point
Repeating same thing everywhere and still not able to make it clear what you want to say is the worst way of writing a Blog. If you don’t know what you want to convey to your readers then take a deep breath and write down rough draft on a piece of paper.
I’ve seen it many times that people end up losing their readers permanently if they keep writing anything without giving it a thought.
4. Beware of Grammmatical Misttakkes
Though I agree sometimes we do make typos but in the long term you should avoid silly grammatical mistakes like ‘its and it’s’, ’ your and you’re’, ;their and there’ and so on.
It is quite trivial to make out what you wanted to say but still you should take this a bit seriously and believe me you’ll have at least 5% more readers.
5. Be Regular
Once again I’ll say that, to be a good Blogger demands some quality thinking as well as time. Even it’s not bad if you are publishing 3 articles a week but be regular.
It’s like you are waiting for you Burger at Mc. Donald’s for last 15 minutes and then end up going to Burger King with strong intention of not coming back to Mc.D again. You can now correlate your readers and yourself here.
6.Using Pictures wherever possible.
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words – and lesser time too! I agree that it’s not always possible to put a picture but they convey much more that your writing. And by picture it doesn’t mean the pictures taken by a camera.
Pictures can be of anything like Graph to show some statistics or Flowchart to show the working of some process and so on.
7. A Good Humor
Yes! a humor that can give a smile on your reader’s face. Actually we would all love to read anything that has a blend of humor with knowledge and information.
Even if your readers didn’t like the article then at the end they will be in a state where they still can’t ignore your work if not appreciate it.
Good Luck & Happy Blogging!

Great post, but its a bit long and most people like short and sweet posts!
