Nokia N series is a popular range of phones specially if you look at European and Asian Markets. With recent announcement of N97 and launch of Nokia 5800, today Nokia announced another N series model N79 Active which comes with wireless Bluetooth Heart rate monitoring Belt by Polar brand.
Nokia N79 is a phone specially meant for health conscious people. It comes with GPS tracking software by Nokia which will record your favorite route and fitness data and will automatically add it online.
Since it is Nokia’s first Sports model it comes bundled with sport headphones and armband too. It also features 5 mega pixel Camera with Carl Zeiss optics. You can also sync your music collection on the air using Nokia Music Store in its 4GB microSD card memory or can tune in to your favorite FM radio station.
Other features of Nokia N79 Active will be similar to N79 regular version which was released in October last year. It’ll have inbuilt GPS receiver, 3.5 mm audio jack, TV out, FM transmitter, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g, Java games etc. Battery life will be around 372 hours on standby and around 6 hours talk time.

PRICE: Though we are not sure about the release date but Nokia N79 price is quite affordable compared to other similar phones, somewhere around 350-400 Euros in European market. It’ll be available in selected countries initially.
