Nikon D3X features and specs out

If you were waiting for 1st December which happens to be the announcement date for Nikon D3X DSLR camera, then just hold your breath. Nikon Pro Magazine has unveiled full details of this much anticipated camera 2 days before its release.

D3X will share the same body and design with the earlier model D3. Other features includes

  • EXPEED processor(16 bit)
  • 24.5mp FX sensor
  • 5:4 and DX crops
  • 5fps at full resolution; DX crop shoots 10mp images at up to 7fps
  • ISO 100-1600, extendable down to 50 and up to 6400

Nikon D3X Surprisingly, after covering full 6 page featured article in Nikon Pro magazine, there’s no information about D3X on Nikon’s site as of now. Not even a single picture of the camera. You can check it here.

Though according to Engadget it was reportedly shown but removed from their website. Probably it’ll be up again on 1st December which is the announcement date for D3X.

As of now, experts are speculating the price of Nikon D3x to be somewhere around 5500$.

Nikon D3X will be shipping early in 2009 (around late January)
