With Microsoft Windows Vista still not the no.1 Windows brand, we’ll see Win 7 to be releasing next year. Till now Windows XP is doing a great job as an ideal operating system after installing Service Pack 2 and is much more stable than the current Windows Vista.
Microsoft has again postponed the date of Windows XP availability till May 2009 next year. Earlier Windows XP was scheduled to cutoff its sales to OEM and resellers till January 2009.
Windows 7 is scheduled to release late next year and now with Windows Vista Service Pack 2 already available for download (beta) , this was actually needed to promote the newer Windows versions.
Note: If you wan’t to buy Microsoft Windows XP, you need to place your order before January 2009 after which it’ll be only available to OEMs and resellers till May 2009.
