Tom Krazit writes a live blog about the iPhone 3G launch disappointment amongst the customers at Bay Area. It’s really hard to believe that many of the people who started queuing up at the stores early morning were sent back without the device because of failure of ATT servers worldwide and no alternative services to activate the phone.
Unlike its incredible launch last year, this time Apple and AT&T have resorted to activate the device in the store itself to protect the phone getting open for unlocking like it’s previous version.
It’s even harder to imagine the launch of iPhone in India where standing in a queue for just an electronic device is way too out of the rules.
