Though Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) is still in its beta, but I really loved the color tab grouping feature in it. It not only group the tabs based on domain hostname but also is very helpful to know the opened tabs based on color.
Group/Sort Tabs is a Firefox Plugin that will group all your tabs based on the domain name. It is an optional feature. You can also Sort your tabs by last opened date , hostname or last browsed date.
Group/Sort Firefox tab addon is continuously improving. As of now, option to color code tab just like IE8 is not supported but hopefully we’ll see the feature soon.
Also another recommendation is to Close similar tabs or all the tabs of the same domain hostname. We’ll really appreciate if this color code grouping tab feature like IE8 comes inbuilt in Firefox 3.1.
