Whether you use Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer or the latest Google Chrome, a browser without plugins is nothing at all. Google Chrome plugins have yet to be announced but there are no. of hacks available on the internet for it.
As we have mentioned it previously too, Bookmarklets are javascript codes that runs directly from your Bookmarks toolbar. You just need to drag the javascript link and click on it whenever required. Though officially there are no Google Chrome plugins but web developers have explored all sort of ways to do stuff you do in Firefox.
Install Stumbleupon bookmarklet plugin on Google Chrome
To install a Stumbleupon plugin (Bookmarklet) on Google Chrome the trick is very simple. Just right click on the Bookmarks toolbar as shown on the picture and select the option of "Add Page".
It’ll open up Add Bookmark window. Just name it as Stumble and on the URL Bar add the following Javascript URL code.
Make sure that you haven’t fiddled with the javascript settings of Google Chrome otherwise this trick will not work.
javascript:window.location.href = ‘http://www.stumbleupon.com/demo/#url’;
Once you have added this, just go to any website and press the Stumble button at the top which you’ve just created and voila! you’ll Google Chrome plugin for Stumbleupon installed.
Google Chrome is a great browser. You can not only analyze and optimize your website with it but also can apply themes on it , though officially there’s is no support for Chrome plugins and themes whatsoever.
