Firefox 3.1 new features

If you are not aware, Mozilla Firefox will soon be releasing the latest version 3.1 very soon. Right now Firefox 3.1 beta 2 is in fourth development milestone and anytime soon they will be rolling out the release of the latest browser.

Some New features of Firefox 3.1 -

  • Available in 54 new languages.
  • New Private Browsing Mode.
  • It’ll be quite easy to clean the browsing history and erase all the traces.
  • New Tab switching behavior.
  • One Click Bookmarking.
  • Platform native Look and Feel.
  • Extensive support for new web technologies such as multimedia elements, W3C Geolocation API, Javascript query selectors
  • Support for CSS 2 and 3.1 properties and SVG Transforms.
  • Smart Location Bar.
  • New TRACEMONKEY Javascript Engine for faster experience on web 2.0 sites.

If you want to try out the beta for all the above features then you can also download the latest build of Firefox 3.1 beta. Though the famous browser is too good currently, but you’ll see much more improved performance with 3.1.
