First it was Symbian based phones, then came Blackberry and iPhone Google App . Now Google Mobile app team has released Google App Client for Windows Mobile Phone too. Though the app for Windows Mobile doesn’t have the Voice Search like iPhone but still it will be very useful for searching and checking your GMail account.
The app gives you much faster access to Google Search, Google Map, Gmail, Calendar and Docs. Earlier Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile was the only way by which you could access all those Google properties.
Apart from that, the app supports faster text search which is suggested to you based on your search history. The results are 50 percent faster than the normal browser search and you can also easily browse through Google Maps with much better experience.
Currently, the app is only available for users running Windows Mobile in UK,US,Canada, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
To directly download the app from your Windows Mobile phone you can open Internet Explorer and launch http://m.google.com/search . For those who want the app link to be directly sent to you for download , you can do so from Google Mobile Website for Windows Mobile and entering your phone number where you would like to receive the app.
This app will work for all Windows Mobile Phones irrespective of the make. So whether it be HTC, Motorola, LG or Samsung you can just download it from the above link and search faster than your browser search.
