After the release of Apple Safari 3.2, there were number of crashes that many users have reported. This was due to some third party software which were not compatible with it on Windows.
Apple today has released an update for Mac as well as Windows which is much improved and stable version of Safari. It has latest security updates which also includes updates to TIFF and JPEG image handling and patches to other vulnerable bugs that were present in 3.2
There was a major flaw in 3.2 version of Safari according to which html form fields were stored in a local page cache. This was very much vulnerable as this info could be used by a hacker on console to know your important information like your Credit Card number, SSN etc.
Hopefully Apple has fixed all the bugs and now it won’t crash like it was crashing in the previous version
