How to download HD or low quality Videos from YouTube using KeepHD

We’ve recently covered an article telling you about how to download youtube videos for your iphone/ipod using Kickyoutube. But the problem there is that it won’t give you all the option to download low quality, medium quality or even an HD videos from YouTube.

KeepHD is another excellent web tool that you can use to download HD videos from YouTube (even low quality videos too). It works exactly the same way as Kickyoutube.

Steps to download HD videos from Youtube -

STEP 1 : Go to any youtube video that has HD quality (if you can see the HD logo near the sidebar)
STEP 2 : Let say your Youtube video link showing in address bar is something like

STEP 3 : Just replace the word YouTube above with "KeepHD" so that now it would look like
 

STEP 4: Once you press enter on that link you’ll be directly shown an option to download all the qualities of that video present. Something like –
Just click on the quality of video you want to download.

Also do remember that in order to play HD videos in this format you need to have Apple’s QuickTime player.

For playing low quality videos you can try searching and downloading FLV player. There are lots of other free player available. Just Google it!
