Recently GTA 4 Liberty City got available for PC users. Many gamers worldwide have reported problems with this version. For some the game was not launching at all, some were not able to attach any additional device controllers or for some Grand Theft Auto IV was getting hanged showing the Loading screen.
If you are also playing GTA 4 then it is recommended to download and install a small patch from Rockstar games to fix all these issues. Rockstar has released this patch version 1.0.2.0 which apart from fixing these issues, will also add few more options to your Game Menu.
This second version of GTA 4 patch will add Water Quality, Shadow Quality, Reflection Resolution slider option in Graphics Menu and will fix the rendering and Vsync optimizations.
Some of the fixes related to crashes includes fixing of loading issue of game where only a black DOS window will launch while starting the game and closes without launching the actual game. Issues related to RESC10 error are also resolved.
Also if you encountered "GRAND THEFT AUTO IV has encountered a problem and needs to close" error have been fixed" error, this also has been fixed in the patch.
The new patch now supports more device controllers and wheels including Logitech G25 Racing wheel, Logitech Rumblepad 2, Driving Force Pro, Saitek P2500 etc.
