Digg + Twitter = Dwigger, when your tweets get some attention

Digg, as we all know is a social bookmarking site where people from all over the world bookmark popular websites on the internet to share it with others. Twitter, on the other hand is a microblogging service giving you short updates (answers to What you are doing?) about your friends, family and co-workers to stay connected with them.

Dwigger

Dwigger is one cool experiment blending Digg as well Twitter. With Dwigger you can take part in threaded conversations of your tweets like we have in Digg. In Twitter you could only shout without knowing if someone heard your or not. For example, now if your friend gives you an update – “Experienced Thunderstorm at Green Street” , in Dwigger you can actually take part in discussion of this tweet exactly like Digg which is so cool. Your tweet now gets some attention unlike previously.

Dwigger Frontpage

You can create your Dwigger account using your old Twitter profile and start dwigging. You can also take part in threaded conversations by sending SMS, just prefix  your message with “d dwigger”. Similar to Digg, Dwigger has top weekly posts, popular people, feed subscription, Zeit Cloud(  Zeitgeist  + Tag Cloud ). For more queries read official Dwigger FAQs.
