We have discussed several tools before to convert word documents to .PDF or vice versa for free either online or by downloading some tool.
Sometimes spreadsheets are embedded inside PDF documents that are very hard to retrieve. Even if you try to copy them and paste them in Excel document it loses all the tabular data.
Now we have absolutely free online facility to extract tables from a PDF document into Microsoft Office’s Excel document. And more importantly, you don’t need to signup and there’s no registration required at all.
Just go to PDFtoExcelOnline , select your PDF document and format, enter your email and bang! .xls file will be there in your mail very soon.
We actually tried this small web tool. The appearance of the produced tables in Excel was not exactly the same but it was able to maintain the formatting with respect to font, colors etc.
The converted output .xls file can also be used with Google Docs and OpenOffice or any other of your spreadsheet software.
