How to use Mobile phone camera as a wireless webcam

These days new symbian phones are coming up with an inbuilt software to convert your mobile phone camera into a webcam for your Desktop or laptop. But for old phones there’s no other way of making their camera as a webcam.

WWIGO is a startup which has created apps for so many different mobile phones to utilize their inbuilt camera to be used as a webcam. And you don’t need any wire for doing that. You can pair up bluetooth connection with your laptop (or use Wi-Fi) and use your phone as a wireless camera.

Mobile Phone webcam camera The WWIGO webcam app also records videos using the PC interface. And you can use your cam with most of the popular IM clients like Skype, Yahoo Messenger, MSN and can do video conference with it.

The video quality will depend on the cam but otherwise if you have a decent mobile phone camera (1.2 mega pixel +) then it will give you a very pleasing results. You just need to have a bluetooth dongle to pair it with your Symbian phone and run the app.

The free version of the app has limited features and you can upgrade to the paid version if you like the app. The app will also work for Wifi enabled phones and can can establish connection using internet.

Works with all S60 Symbian Phones like NOKIA, SONY ERICSSON, SAMSUNG , MOTOROLA etc. Please note that the trial app works only for 1 hour of usage.
