Please spread the word and help them. You can donate even a dollar for that matter and you can have your name enlisted here.

With growing list of Wikipedia Benefactors, current figures are proving to be great for this Donation asking event of Wikipedia.

I love wikipedia, but I mean, 6 million dollars? Sure, it obviously works since they’ve got 2,5 already, but I don’t think the servers costs 6 million dollars every year. I’m pretty sure they put most of that money into their own pockets.
Well Jonathan, that’s a valid point but nobody would mind if they keep some money into their own pockets. At the end of the day it’s only us who are updating their databases with latest and true information, only to help whole community.
I am getting so lazy on this. I’ll make sure that I donate at least a dollar for the cause.
Thanks
Pretty screwed up!!! Keeping SOME money in their own pockets is fine but not $5 million dollars worth.
I agree, this is a huge amount. They should disclose total expenses that they have made. But who cares, I am not even donating a cent
they made $3,000,000+ in revenue in 2008?
