Gearlive has reported that the beta version of Apple iPhone OS 2.1 has been released for the developers. Along with this firmware, new SDK is also provided to them. Mostly, the new firmware will add few more features to the its GPS capabilities that will even be able to track the direction where the user is heading along with the speed of motion.
This could be a great feature for the app developers where they can now create some creative apps tracking your daily motion. Hopefully we’ll see apps exploring this feature on iTunes App Store soon.
