With recession hitting hard and Christmas coming soon, who wouldn’t like to buy an iPhone just for 99$. Yes you heard it right, it’s 99$. By the end of December, world’s largest retail store Walmart will be selling an iPhone for 99$.
Apple iPhone is currently being sold for 199$ (8GB) and 299$ (16GB) at Apple and AT&T stores. Experts at Walmart are saying that they may sell discontinued 4 gigabyte version of iPhone which came with the launch, for just 99$.
Apple has already sold 10 million iPhones this year making the iPhone brand to be the best selling in US. With 99$ launch, I am sure there will be another Black Friday rush to grab the revolutionary phone.
As per Bloomberg the 99$ iPhone will be launched on December 28th, 2008
On the other hand, it’s sad part that recession has hit Apple very hard declining their stock price to 53 percent.
